Don't be an ass. They got their cheap golds, but no one else got cheaper fissure/grotto/granite armor.

If thinking that seems unfair makes me a hypocrite, then yea, I am one.

Maybe Fissure Armor wasn't meant to be obtained by ripping off other players with easily obtained, overpriced junk in the first place?

Gee, doesnt sound like it was so easy to obtain, if your gripeing about high prices. And if it was junk, why do you care? Hmmm.

Now who's trying to have it both ways?

Oh, I've always gotten my own mods and collector items instead of indulging the train wreck that is the Gold Item market, thank you. I was talking about people who didn't know any better until this patch made it obvious power farmers/sellers are obsolete.

look at it this way, if youre a farmer who enjoys being able to assert some kind of superiority by having uber rare gear, you can now aim for fissure armor - because - as you say - its now much harder to make plat by selling gold items.

this means youre uber farming skillz0rs will be put to good use farming hours and hours of gold items that nobody else could be stuffed doing to earn your 10k per item income to get your fissure armor.

ofcourse if youre not willing to 'earn' that right - then well... too bad for you aye? that was the point of view i kept hearing from you about it.

or you could pvp for a bit and learn strategies and tactics and win hoh a few times to get yourself some sigils and sell them for good money.

actually i find that a bit amusing - after all the hassle pvp'rs went through repeatedly playing the same pve missions to get their characters all the skills to play competitively in the pvp aspect of the game they like better.

now its the pve crowd who should start thinking seriously about coming up with hoh winning builds to farm sigils and make money for pve gear.

btw - it only takes 3 or so good runs in hoh to max out your money

but I don't wannnnnt to learrrnnnn. I want sigils NOW! It's not fair that PvP'ers get sigils. It's unfair to ask me to put in time learning uber Guild0rs skills. Gimme gimme gimme
[/pve players]

[anet]

[pvp players]

Sarcasm. Can be effective and funny in the hands of some people....

You are not one of them.

Besides... I am a big PVE player. Most of my time in GW has been in PVE. So your idiotic rant and generalisation just doesnt apply.

Oh, this is grand. I want everyone to see this. First he says:

Then there are the rest who want to actually play the game and enjoy it.
Then he says this:

Making things cheaper will help the majority and "hurt" only a few (the greedy hoarding farmers)
But then a few minutes ago he posted this , in a different thread.

And he called me a hypocrite a few minutes ago. Nice.

There is still the thought of finding the material yourselves in UW and Fow, and also for all cash we turn to PvP. Do some tombs and get some sigils. Even if players wont buy them, traders will still buy them for a good amount. those who DONT need fissure aremor can sell ecos, shards, etc. The green item si think u should just save for urself

Then again I'm probably repeating what half of you said, but at different times. This has turned into a contest more than a thread. what was the point of this thread again?

And just how does that make me a hyprocrite? In fact, it makes my point even stronger since I DO farm from time to time but yet I'm not complaining about drops being more available to everyone. Unlike you, I don't farm to get gold items and then sell them for ridiculous amounts of money like you do. I'm glad that they made drops better for EVERYONE.

Nice try Sparky.
